Premium Chocolate Maker, Norman Love Confections Partners with Boston Red Sox for Local Heart Walk
The Boston Red Sox and Norman Love Confections BLACK™ ultra premium chocolate are the ingredients for a home run. Add in the American Heart Association and you have a grand slam.
NLC has partnered with the Red Sox to help raise funds for this year’s
American Heart Association’s Start! Heart Walk at Centennial Park in downtown Ft. Myers on Saturday, December 12th.
NLC will be serving a low-fat version of its newly released Norman Love Confections BLACK™
Sipping Chocolate* during the Start! Heart Walk event. Further supporting the Red Sox and Heart Association’s fundraising efforts, in February for the first-time, a limited edition Norman Love Confections BLACK™ Hearts product will be offered for Valentine’s Day, along with NLC’s classic heart flavors. Portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Norman Love Confections BLACK™ Hearts will be donated to the Red Sox’ Heart Walk team.
Norman Love, founder of NLC and one of North America’s Top 10 Chocolatiers, and his wife Mary Love both have heart disease in their immediate family.

One benefit is that dark chocolate contains antioxidants known as flavanols that destroy free radicals, which have been implicated in heart disease.
